Young Comboni vocations in the year 2025

This year the Comboni Missionaries have 41 young people who will make their first religious profession during the coming month of May and then go to various international centres to continue their theology studies. In addition, there are 27 young men – both candidates for the priesthood and brothers – who are concluding their theology training, and will go for their first missionary experience in their home countries.
With gratitude in our hearts, we thank God for the gift of the missionary vocation of 41 young Comboni missionaries of 17 different nationalities (5 from Latin America and 36 from Africa) who are concluding their novitiate and who, in May, will pronounce their first vows, consecrating their lives to the mission following the example of St Daniel Comboni.
It is a moment of grace for the whole Institute. We entrust them to the Heart of Christ so that they may be witnesses of the faith in the world. They have been assigned to different formation houses in Europe, America and Africa, to continue their formation in scholasticates and international centres for brothers (CIF), where there are already 172 young scholastics and brothers.
We are grateful to God for the journey made by 27 young scholastics and brothers who, having reached the end of their training, are preparing to begin the Comboni missionary life, ready to bear witness to the Gospel with the same ardour as St Daniel Comboni.
