A Comboni Missionaries’ Campaign
to Join the Laudato Si’ Action Platform

The XIX General Chapter has adopted Integral Ecology as a fundamental axis of our mission, connecting the pastoral, liturgical, formative, social, economic, political, and environmental dimensions (CA 2022, 30). Specifically, it committed to: Join the Laudato Si’ initiative platform promoted by the Holy See’s Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development (Laudato Si’ Action Platform – LSAP) at various levels (community, Circumscription, Institute). (CA 2022, 30.1).

On the occasion of the Season of Creation 2024 (September 1 – October 4), Comboni communities are invited to join this initiative, which requires three simple steps:

1. Go to the website [https://laudatosiactionplatform.org/] and register (follow this link to download the Comboni guide for registration).

2. Upload to the site the community reflection on its commitment to integral ecology. You can use the reflection at the Institute level and add any local considerations, if necessary.

3. Upload the community’s annual action plan to the site. You can use the simple template to fill out, which can be downloaded here.

Official launch of the campaign: webinar “To Hope and Act with Creation,” September 2, 2024 (6:00 PM Rome time), which you can join with this link.
