Online course on social innovation specifically for the Comboni missionaries

The Comboni Alliance for Social Entrepreneurship (CASE) has organized an online course on social innovation specifically for the Comboni Missionaries. The aim of the programme is to help missionaries develop skills for tackling today’s mission challenges, which require more than just passion, through creativity and innovation. The course is set to equip the missionaries with the practical skills needed to integrate social innovation into their current ministry, with weekly sessions from October 16th to November 2nd.
In Evangelii Gaudium (EG 33), Pope Francis states: «Pastoral ministry in a missionary key seeks to abandon the complacent attitude that says: “We have always done it this way”. I invite everyone to be bold and creative in this task of rethinking the goals, structures, style and methods of evangelization in their respective communities». Indeed, the new realities and challenges emerging from the change of epoch we are experiencing, invite missionaries to innovate their missionary approach and practices.
