Today the Holy See released the list of participants for the XVI Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops to be held during the month of October in Rome. Fr. Tesfaye Tadesse Gebresilasie is one of the ten participants indicated among the Superiors General, elected with four other members of the Union of Superiors General (USG) and five other sisters elected among the members of the Union of Superiors General (UISG). The entire Institute congratulates Fr. Tesfaye for this choice and assures him of the support of its prayers as of now. It is therefore confirmed, as already announced in the General Notes circulated last week, that the October Consulta, due to the unavailability of Father General in October, will take place in two separate sessions i.e.: from 13 to 23 September and from 6 to 17 November, 2023.
