O kind and merciful Father, in your great love you desired to share your life with the whole of humanity. We thank you for having called us to the mission through St. Daniel Comboni.

Lord Jesus, who willingly accepted the mandate of the Father and became a witness to his love; help us to bring about the dream of God of a humanity that becomes a single family of brothers and sisters.

Your Word is a source of joy when it is proclaimed to the poorest. You willed to share with us your passion for the most abandoned: may our commitments make room for the presence of your Kingdom.

O Holy Spirit, source and strength of the Mission, you who urge us to share our lives so that all may have life, fill our hearts with your gifts so that we may learn to live the mission with faith and optimism.

O Holy Trinity, we ask of you the grace to accompany us in preparing for the XVIII General Chapter. Help us to understand what you want of us. Make us discover your plans for the mission today. Make us available and generous in living the mission as your humble collaborators.

Fill, O Lord, our hearts with your joy, so that we may become authentic witnesses of your presence in the world, messengers of your life, light of your hope and fire of your love.

O Mary, inspirer of a mission forever new, accompany us on our journey and help us to respond with enthusiasm to the challenges of the world of today.

St. Daniele Comboni, guide us in our search for the will of God for the good of those peoples whom you loved so much.
