“Comboni Missions” magazine has won 3rd prize for General Excellence

“Comboni Missions”, a magazine of the Comboni Missionaries in the United States of America has been awarded 3rd Prize for General Excellence in its category by the Catholic Press Association of the United States and Canada. “We are committed to preach the Joy of the Gospel, as proposed by Pope Francis, to the entire world”, said Fr. Joseph Bragotti, the actual editor of the missionary magazine.

Every year the Catholic Press Association of the United States and Canada holds a national convention of all its members at which awards are given to different publications, divided into newspapers and magazines and further subdivided according to their field of interest.
Our Comboni Missions publication has been in the winners’ circle on and off for many years, the last time being in 2011. We are happy to report that this year once again we have been recognized with a 3rd Prize for General Excellence with the following motivation: “This magazine contains powerful images and excellent critical thinking. A must-read for those interested in diverse missions around the world.”
This year Comboni Missions is making a special effort to publicize the missionary vision of Pope Francis, first because we believe in it, second because too many priests and bishops in the United States seem to be afraid to speak about it.
