Visit of the Superior General to the Comboni Province of Italy
Rome, Friday, April 26, 2013
Fr. Enrique Sánchez González, superior general of the Comboni Missionaries, began his official visit to the Italian province on April 7. Accompanied by the provincial superior of Italy, Fr. Corrado Masini, Fr. Enrique started with the communities of the South. He will return to Rome on April 30. In the picture left and below: visit to the scholasticate of Casavatore in Naples.
“Yesterday, April 25 – wrote Fr. Fernando Zolli of the Florence community – we had among us a very special person, our superior general. He came to visit us and to encourage us in our work of mission promotion in Florence and in Tuscany.” The short communication from Fr. Zolli ended with a request: “Remember us in your prayers and support us in our commitment of missionary presence in this area, at the service of ecclesial communities, of migrants and of the marginalized.” The Comboni members of the community of Florence are: Fr. Alessandro Bedin, Fr. Michele Bonfitto, P. Cavinato Ampelio, Fr. Garasome Subari Pascal, Bro. Emilio Prevedello, Fr. Mario Sala Danna and Fr. Fernando Zolli.
