Jubilee Convening on Global Climate Reparation: 3-6 March, 2025

Taproot Earth emerged from community responses to Hurricane Katrina, the 2010 BP Oil Drilling Disaster, and Hurricane Ida in US. Their mission is to advance global climate reparations by forging connections that strengthen, empowers and sustain frontline climate communities across the Gulf in US and Global South countries.

Taproot Earth is planning a convening scheduled to be held at Hotel de La Ville, Via Sistina, 69, 00187 Roma, Italy, from March 3 to March 6, 2025. This is the first step in a broader campaign that takes up the Jubilee and advances global climate reparations with the Catholic Church and subsequent efforts for advocacy and change.

This event will bring together approximately 100 participants from around the world, and as the JPIC Commission USG-UISG, we have 15 available spots for our network. To participate, please register using the link below in the box. Only the first 15 registrants will secure a spot at the event.
