Father Tesfaye Gabriel Erbelo Anulo is an Ethiopian Catholic Priest belonging to the Comboni Missionaries Institute who has worked as a missionary in Mozambique and in the formation of young boys in the seminary for postulants in Addis Ababa. [Comboni Missionaries]

Fr. Tesfaye Gabriel Erbelo Anulo, a Comboni Missionary priest for fourteen years, shares with us how he felt God’s call to join the seminary and how was his process of formation to be ordained as a priest. He also shares about the places he has been working as a young missionary in Mozambique and how he feels deeply grateful to God for the beauty of the vocation to serve as an evangelizer. At the present, Fr. Tesfaye is back in Ethiopia in the formation house of the postulancy as formation director.

Birth: March 15, 1978.
Place: Wassara, Osana.
Postulancy: September 2000, beginning of his formation as a seminarian in Addis Ababa.
Novitiate: August 28, 2003 to April 30, 2005 in Lusaka, Zambia.
Theology: September 2005 to June 2009 in S. Paolo, Brazil.
Service: September 2010 to July 2011 in the parishes of Dongora and Fullasa belonging to the Vicariate of Hawassa, back in Ethiopia.
Ordination: November 5th, 2011.
Mission 1: From 2012 to 2021 in Mozambique. Missions of Maputo and Lalava (Nampula).
Course: From June 2021 to June 2022 an Ongoing Formation course in Rome, Italy.
Mission 2: From December 2022 to today, in the formation house of the postulancy in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
