With great pride and joy, Holy Family School for Boys (CSF) in Helwan (Egypt) celebrated the graduation of its beloved students — the Class of 2023-2024 — on Saturday, April 12, 2025. This momentous occasion marked the 43rd graduating class in the school’s rich and inspiring history.
We were deeply honoured by the esteemed presence of Fr. Diego Dalle Carbonare, the Provincial Superior of the Comboni Missionaries Egypt & Sudan Province, His Grace Bishop Michael, Orthodox Bishop of Helwan-Maasara and the surrounding areas, and Professor Dr. Abdel Aziz Fahmy, Director of Helwan Educational Administration. A good number of religious sisters from the Comboni Sisters and Egyptian Sacred Heart Sisters, along with priests from both the Catholic and Orthodox Churches, were also in attendance. Their presence added a special touch to the celebration and reaffirmed their ongoing support for our educational and moral mission.
During the ceremony, we proudly honored 87 students for their dedication, excellence, and achievements throughout their years at the school. We wish them all continued success and a future filled with promise.
In a heartfelt tribute, Fr. Bonifacio Autentico Apaap Jr., representing the owning body, along with Fr. Sobhy Basily Atalla, Legal Representative, Mr. Sobhy Shafik, the School Headmaster, and Ms. Sonia Rufail, the Assistant School Mistress, presented plaques of appreciation to 18 esteemed teachers who have reached retirement age in the past few years. We express our deepest gratitude for their years of faithful service, commitment, and invaluable contributions to our school.
The graduation ceremony featured lively participation from our students, showcasing their talents through songs, dances, and theatrical performances. As we reflect on this joyful occasion, we seek God’s blessings on everyone involved. May Holy Family School for Boys in Helwan continue to be a beacon of learning, a source of pride, and a nurturing ground for hope, ambition, and excellence in its students and staff.
We wish everyone continued success and a fruitful journey ahead.
